: Power steering plumbing question

On Friday I picked up a complete power steering system from one of the wrecking yards; pump, gearbox, brackets, pulleys, hoses. It's off a '75 2wd Chevy pickup, and I'm going to convert a 4wd fore-aft MANUAL steering rig to power crossover. When I got to the yard, it was all disassembled in a pile on the floor waiting for me. Well, all except for that one hose it took the guy an hour to find, which was destroyed after he spent another half hour getting it off. Anyway, the question is - which port on the gearbox is the pressure line and which one is the return? It's been so long since I messed with one of these that I can't remember, and I sure can't look at the hoses on there now. Thanks in advance.

The port closest to the frame is your pressure port and the one away from the frame is your return....................:smokin:
