I am going to put a set of 265/70R-16s on, but was wondering if anyone here has used both types of tires? How is the Ride? Wear? Off-roadability comparision between the two? I'll look at 75 BFG M/Ts later after my warranty dies.

Given those two choices, I would go with the REVO's. JMHO... but from what I have seen of the BFG AT's both on and off-road, they aren't as impressive as some people like to believe they are. Being a little more specific as to your actual usage (%on vs off-road driving time, type of terrain and weather conditions, etc) leads to people giving better answers.
Actually, I would recommend getting a set of Goodyear MT/R's over any AT. They are much much better off-road and still a very streetable tire. But that wasn't one of my options :flipoff2:

Thanks Indyguy. Goodyear M/Ts were not a choice because they don't make them in the size I am looking for. Another person suggested them to me, but after looking, they no workie (75s too big). The only thing they make in the size I am looking for is the Wrangler SilentArmor. So, I am going with either the ATs or REVOs. I would also consider the Geolandar A/T+II if I knew more about it? Percenatge will be 70% on-road and 30% off. Terrain is mostly the mountains of NW North Carolina - forrest, dirt roads, mud, snow, etc. This help any?

I have BFG ATs on my Tahoe. They wear well, I have had them for 20K and can't really tell they are worn at all.
They make a little noise but I don't notice it much. I think the BFGs are more aggressive than the Revos, and probably a little noisier. They are both good tires by all accounts, but for off-road I would choose the BFG ATs over Revos.

I have Revo's on my wifes Cruiser and ATKO's on my 4R, The Revo's are quieter than the BFG's. I haven't had the Revo's long enough to say how long they will last, but by all accounts they should be good for 40K+, My AT's have 40K+ on them and they have about 1/2 tread left, but they are getting louder as they wear. The AT's are better off road. They both SUCK in the mud. Hope this helps.

my old bfg a/t's were great on anything except mud and wet pavement. they rode fairly smooth, wore like iron even with bad alignment, and held up great. BFG makes a very high quality tire. however, the tread pattern of the A/T does not allow water to escape when on wet pavement. it traps the water and allows the truck to hydroplane very easily. i could barely go 35mph on wet pavement without hydroplaning. also, they are an a/t, so they suck in mud, but thats expected.
i absolutely love the A/T REVO's. very smooth, very quiet, all around great quality tire, and they work very well in on wet pavement. they would definately be my choice as best a/t tire.
