I Have an 83 FJ 60 that does not have a proportioning anywhere. My 88 FJ 62 has one just in front of the rear axle. Is the FJ60 suppose to have one. My brake seem to work fine but could they be better if I had one. Thanks.

I don't think *any* US-spec FJ60 has a brake LSPV, but maybe some of the later ones did. You're lucky, my FJ62 (non-US) didn't come with one either...
