anyone here know if there is a vehicle speed sensor availiable that does not need a speedo cable attached to it

engine is a 94' stang 5.0L bolted to a c6 w 203/205

don't really care about knowing how fast i am going

what are my options

believe it or not, the '94 Mustang used a VSS that fits the speedo cable hole in the 205.

I got mine from Napa

i believe it but does it use a speedo cable? and i have a vss here that fits my np205 it just has the speedo cable on it

you think i could just cut the speedo cable at the VSS and make a cap so the nub of the cable won't come out ?

Nahhh man, mine does not use a cable, just has 2 white wires on the plug

just leave the cable off and cap the end.that is all ford does,it's the same speed sensor.
if you get one of the ford ones that don't use the cable,you can pop the cap out and put a cable into it.
