I was wondering if anyone has used or heard anything about the WARRIOR SOA kit for Cj's. I am trying to budget myself, and I ran across this Kit. The Kit only costs about $100.00

I don't think it's that much. We sell them it's perches, shock mounts, spring plates etc. A good deal for what you get.

Thats the basics of what you need isnt it, Plus some springs. I have a BDS 4" lift right now with 33s, but when I run them down i was gonna go with the SOA, and run 35s. I am trying to see what would be the best budget wise, considering I have already bought the the BDS springs about 2 years ago.

I asked about the YJ one a couple weeks back. Everyone that had it said it was flimsy and that the M.O.R.E. ones are better

Well, you did get me to re-read the post about 3 times! I'm in the process of going spring-over in the rear of my TJ. Yes, spring-over! The rear was converted to leaf springs about a year ago. It's SUA right now and doesn't flex much - could also be due to the rear shocks being beat to hell. I'm going spring-over with the "new" rear 14-bolt.

Been lookin. Saw the Warrior kit in an ad. Would like to see one in person before buying it tho. Just checked out MORE's spring pads - not bad. If I have to buy sight unseen, I'll probably go with the RE anti-wrap  mounts. I don't believe spring pads can solve axle wrap but at least I know the company has a decent rep.

All the RE anti wrap mounts are is a spring perch with an 8" long piece of 1/2" steel welded to the top of them. I used the RE spring over kit about 6 years ago, when I didnt know any better, and you can build the whole thing for alot less. If you have the knowlege to adress all the steering, axle wrap, and pinion issues involved with a SOA conversion, then you can fab the mounts. If you cant fab the mounts, then its probably best to stick with SUA.

What kind of pinion issues are you talking about? I'm going to do SOA this summer and I am starting my planning.

As stated before SOA is not the most complicated thing to do. Cut off pads, reweld pads, add shock mounts, flip center pin, get shocks, get drop pitman arm. It is some work to do. If it is your first you may need some help. After a while it is a one day project. Just take your time and you will be fine.

there will be alot of people that will say that there is a lot more to do. There is only as much as you want. For the pinion angle, you can buy the angle finder, or you can eyeball it. Just set it alittle low, that way when you give it power it will roll up to where it needs to be.
