Ok well i have a few questions about some axles i got. they are out of a 87 ram charger which i am putting under a Tacoma i have. But i was wondering what gears they make for them. i am going to be running 37 0r 38 so i want to run pretty low gears since my motor isnt very big. also i am going to be running crossover steering but dont know how it will work with the knuckles. i am not to fammiliar with dodge stuff so i dont know if they make some sort of kit or something close to working. i have herd that chevy knuckles will work but i wasent to shure about that. i would relly like the help sine i am brand new to the dodge stuff.

most likely you have a dana 44 and chysler 9 1/4 there. 4.56 is as low as you can go due to the 9 1/4. the dana 44 may already have flat top knuckles, if so you can run highsteer arms on it. If not you will have to put flat top knuckles on it.

You will also need to figure out how to make the CAD work either by defeating it and running hubs, running a posiloc, or running a one piece axle with hubs...that really isn't a "great" axle as they are prone to bending at the CAD unit.
He is correct, if it is original axles for the truck, 9.25 rear and a CAD D44.

I would swap the housing and long side shaft for one off of a 75-84, to eliminate the CAD. Also, for the $$, I think it would be worth it to spend an extra $100 and get a 9" to put out back. It will get rid of the c-clips
