Thought my compressor was bad-checked voltage at compressor plug when switched on gets 1.7 volts. Ground appears good-shows 13.4 volts when hot jumper to battery. I swapped every relay (3) with a new relay with no good results. I visually checked a few grounds and will be looking into the dash switch this evening. I jumped the compressor to battery and it locked up and everything worked fine. I really thought it would be a relay? Any thoughts?

Jump the switch on the reciver dryer with the key on and A/C on. See what you get then.

Turned out to be a shorted wire (kinked and bent) between relay and compressor...
