hey guys need advise plz.. im replacing the front dif. actuator on my blazer and since its been redesigned with a newer version i also have to replace a wire harness. got it all in harness and actuator, but there is this one brown wire thats supposed to attach to a snsor or something on the tranny. long story short where does it connect to :confused: any help would be greatfull. thanks in advance...

By the way this is an awesome site genious...

buy a posi-lock cable for 120 bucks and ditch the stock actuator

how new is the newer version? 01+ i think thats the break

a locker would be nice but its a daily driver not for to much wheeling, got a rig for wheeling, 85 chevy short bed. Anyways got it figured out, the BRN wire splices into the transfer case sensor harness.

no im talking about the company that makes a manual cable and ditches that other crap your wasting time on

search it, bout 130 bucks well worth it if you plan on wheeling that ifs- also get 2low

I did a home made version of the Posi-Lok and it works great.

Posi-Lok is a cable that you pull from inside your truck to engage the front axle. Replaces the vacumm set-up that fails (what you replaced). Next time yours fails, consider the Posi-Lok set-up. You'll never have to replace it again.
