I saw a really well-compiled list a few months ago (on the internet) that detailed every axle under every Ford truck since the mid-'70s. Now I can't find it. Anyone know where to find it or think you can do it from memory? :D

Web page is good for 1966 - around the early 80's. Check Spicers Expert site for 80's up info.
Check the update page (slowly moving info over)

Still missing all the TTB info. I saw an early '80s F-350 w/ TTB and it got me wondering about the different configurations offered through the years.

I have all the TTB info, at least from 1980. Must of lost it in an update to my page.... Someday I'll get to finishing my new web page.....

All the F-series trucks (150-350) got the TTB suspension in 1980 and continued midway through '85 with it, at which time the F-350 (only) was given a Dana 60 straightaxle again.
The F-150 & 250 continued with the TTB suspension until '96 (F-150) and '97 (F-250).
Not real sure on F-250 D44/D50 useage through the years, but I don't believe I've seen a D44 in any F-250 after about '90 or so.
The F-150 got a HP 8.8" IFS for '97, the F-250, a D50/60 "hybrid" straightaxle in '99 (there is no '98 F-250/350). '99 dually F-350s got a true D60.
All '99up axles have cartridge bearing hubs.
'02 marked the demise of the hybrid D50/60, all are true HP D60s now.
The Ranger debuted with a Dana28 axle & TTB suspension in 1983 ('84 for the BII, '90 for the Explorer).
Midway through the 1990 model (mfg dates after 11-'89), the D28 was replaced with a D35 on ALL models.
For the 1993 model, a "hybrid" Dana28/35 was introduced on SOME, but not all, non-4.0L V6 models. These can be readilly identified by the smooth housings on them (real D35s have reinforcement ribs on the housing). These were a D35 on the outside, but used D28 guts in the housing (like the '99-'01 F-250 Dana50/60 hybrids). Some rumors flying around put the D28/35 existence back as far as 1990, but no documentation seems to exist for this, and I have never seen one.
The Explorer was changed to a D35 SLA IFS for 1995, the Ranger, 1998. The SLA axles have a lo-pinion diff.
All TTB axles are high-pinion.
That should help some.

Only the Dually got the 60 up front in 85+
Untill 1988, then the SRW also could get the 60 up front.
