This is a bit narrow of a question, but I am curious if anyone has some input. I am thinking of adding the doubler dodge 203 kit from Wild Horses. I have the 302/Np435/V6 style adapter/D20 set up now. WH says the kit may have driveline changes. Anyone done this and what affect...forward or backward did the D20 move and how much?

One other thing...was swaping the main shaft in the Tranny that hard???

I have the 203, my ford book, and the WH instructions, Yes, it does move the 20 about 1 inch back, that may or may not affect you.
swamping the main shaft seems really easy

"Seems really easy"...did you do it? Does it have to be done.

I've looked at the Wild Horses kits and wondered why they are using the dodge box. i beleive 203 came behind 435s and I know 205's came behind them. If that's the case, a 203 will bolt up to it, so why not just use the Ford 435/203 combo and just get the 203/20 adaptor. I am running a Ford C-6/203 set-up and we made the 203/20 adaptor. I sent the 203 shaft to moser and had it cut to match the 20 intermediate(spud shaft) for $90, then made an adaptor to bolt the 203 to the 20. Works Awesome. rear drive line is short, 31" hth....
