60k from what the previous owner told me. came out of a very nice stock 4x4 truck that was "mysteriously" firebombed 2 weeks after the 50 something year old owner caught somebody breaking into the neighboors house. the entire inside of the cab was gutted by the fire but everything under the hood was still good except for the harness of course. i pulled the engine out of the truck myself.

i did a compression test this weekend and #7 cylinder is dead. i looked at it the best i could and did not see any cylinder wall damage, so i'd have to assume it's a bad valve. but that is only a guess since i did not and do not plan on pulling the head off. at this point, i'll drop the price and sell it as a rebuildable core, although a valve job might just take care of the problem.
