View Full Version : what flat top knuckles will fit a waggy 44

I just got a dana 44 with disc brakes out of a 1989 waggy.I need to get some flat top knuckles.Do I have to get waggy knuckles?What else will fit?(gm,etc..)Thanks

I think all the dana 44 knuckles and the chevy 10 bolt knuckles will fit. You must keep in mind that the hub bolt patterns are different, so if you want to keep 6 lug, stick with GM.

find GM (dana 44 or 10 bolt) or jeep flat tops and everything will bolt right up... your unlikely to find any other flat top knuckle any way

Hey Sand---- I took a look and the factory 44 front in the 76 Wagoneer that I have in the parts yard has flat tops with 6 bolt spindles. If your front is an 89, you may just have to find knuckles from an older one. As someone else mentioned though, Chev's would be easier to find, and already have the drivers side knuckle tapped for studs if you decide to go full crossover in the future. Good luck------ S&R
