i am new to eb's just bought my first .

i tried a search but with no luck

will a 79-up bronco hp front axle fit or bolt up in a 68 eb ?
i understand the later model axle is slightly wider
are there issues with wedges being wider or anything else that would not make this axle a good swap ?

yes the wedges are wider on the axle, i believe by like 2" each side.

if you got a 77 d44, the wedges can be cut off and rewelded on at the same place the eb's where. Not to mention easily correct for caster at that time also.
