sorry to post this in tech, i got no responses in chit chat. Does anyone have a tow rig and live in the Denver area? I need to get my bronco with no top, doors, or windshield from Boulder to Avalanche in Denver but the below freezing temperatures are making it too dangerous. If anyone lives in the area and would be so kind as to donate an hour or so of your time so i don't lose my nose to frostbite please contact me. no top and no doors is one thing, but no windshield means taking 65mph 20 degree winds in the face for 40 miles.
Thanks a lot,
Steve

be a man. dress warm. wear a "head sock" and some flight goggles. it will be way fun and you wont have to rely on someone else.

i dont' know if you've ever experience sub freezing temperatures with 60-70mph winds. It really has nothing to do with "being a man", it becomes pretty dangerous at that point. I will most likely have to end up doing exactly what you say, just sucking it up. However, it's worth a try seeing if someone will lend me a little bit of time to avoid it.

Don't tell Cliffton I said this :D , but he has a K30 with a trailer and sometimes will haul rigs to and from his shop for customers, worth a shot.

Have you tried posting on the http://www.colorado4x4.org/ ? You might get better results from your local wheelers. Is this for the cage with the Lexan window? It would be tough for me to help in the near future, my extra time is devoted to Easter Heep Safari. As far as driving it in the cold, I rolled and smashed my windsheild out at Holy cross about five years ago. Drove it back over the pass in the snow, I'd avoid it if you can. Clifton

Thanks,
Steve
