What's the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Every offroader seems to think kingpins are better, then why do all new trucks and currie front axles and prorocks use balljoints?
I haven't heard of people having problems with the balljoints on prorocks and there are a lot of competitors that use them.
I understand kingpins are stronger, but is there a reason they aren't on any new axles? Are balljoints better for daily driver use?
In particular a full bodied TJ with 37's and hydro assist that's a daily driver, and frequently on the interstate, will balljoints provide a better ride/handling or anything like that? I think balljoints will be more than strong enough for my setup.
