i am a newbie and im trying to learn all i can, plz help if you can. I got a 99 xj an the front left tire is making a clicking noise, seems like it is rubbing on something. i checked my brakes an rotors they were fine, there was no rocks or nails in the tires, but thats all i know to check for. it only makes the noise when the tire is turning. i got a lift for it but i just want to fix the clicking noise first. reply if you have time

Have you tried re-torqueing the lug nuts? They shoul dbe at 85-100# torque
Still clicking? It may be a U joint going bad - check inside the knuckle behind the wheel and see if a cap is either missing or coming out on the U joint...
Still clicking? You may have a wheel hub going bad...easy fix but the stealership wants like $150-$200 for a new one - you can pull one off of a junk yard donor...the TJ and ZJ hubs are the same in that year model as well...
Now for the asshole in me :D - Try searhing next time before you post this crap AND post it in the NEWBIE SECTION since you even fawking SAID you ARE a NEWBIE - we KNEW THIS bagmunch :flipoff:
