dropping a 4.3L TBI in the YJ. Anyhow I will not be running the air cond. compressor. What is the best way to reroute the serp. belt? Tried searching, didn't come up with anything. I'm just starting this project ( my 1st attempt)
and am gathering all the info I can before I turn a bolt.

Its usually easier to run a idler pulley in place of the A/C. Or keep the A?C and turn it into OBA.

there are two OEM flavors of the TBI serp pulley routing; those with A/C and those without. If you know the vehicle flavor and year of the motor (parts house folks need it) you can get the shorter belt that skips the compressor pulley path

You have to run an a/c compressor, or use the delete bracket from GM. This is a bracket that bolts in the stock passenger side a/c motor bracket and has a large grooved pulley on it. I think you can get a delete bracket for around $50.00 new from GM.

Put a york in there and have on board air. The one from Kilby fits real nice in there.

Cool... thanks for the help guys. I probably go with the delete pulley for now. Maybe do the OBA later down the road.
