Where could I find a d300 transfercase? I read in a few threads they came in TJ's and YJ's...what years? What else? I've search and all I found was info about twinstick, adapters, flip kits...
Also, what's the difference between scout d300 and jeep d300s?
I know jeeps had them (I think) but what models besides the ones I listed, years, etc... What is the strongest one? Or are they all the same?

Jeep Dana 300s came in CJ's from 1980 (short version) all the way up until 1986.

The scout D300 came in the 1980 scout II. It's desirable 'cause it bolts up in place of other t-cases with a 'texas' bolt pattern like the D20.

My me and my friend would put it in his jeep. I think it's a XJ...don't know the year... he hasn't really researched much though.
What size is the drop for the scout? Drivers side? i think jeep is passenger side?
