Is that the v6 or 4banger? I saw the pics, is the engine damaged at all?

22R-E is a fuel injected 2.4 liter four banger.

4 Runnerdude is correct it is a fuel injected 2.4 liter 4 cylinder. The engine is not damaged. It is in good shape, just needs to be hoisted out of the car which i will be trying to do this weekend...

It came from a manual 5 speed and yes it was a Ca truck and did pass smog. The engine was never rebuilt to my knowledge (the guy that owned the truck before me was CHP and took real good care of it)
