I can tell you that this is a this is a product we are working on. We have four front and four rear springs currently undergoing testing. These springs are a full 5" lift spring, giving 6+" of lift when used with our shackles and hangers. They are 47.5" long with the front pin moved forward 1". I will post up some photos of the springs under the test rig later this week.

Once we have finished testing, production takes 4-6 weeks.

I just got the 4 inch ones and they are very tall. I know they will settle a bit and have started to while I was out playing over the weekend but I don't see a piont for 5 inch ones. I would rather cut the fenders and keep the rig low. Just my 2 cents.

I agree, I think the 4" spring are plenty tall. On our Formula Toy we removed one front leaf from each pack to reduce the lift. We also inset the front hanger and rear tubes up further into the frame to further reduce the lift.

The reasion we are making the 5" springs is we have had so many people ask for them. On our trucks we will continue to use the 4's

why is there no 2 and 3'' lift spring, but theres a 5''(that yields 6'' of lift) going in production? if you sold a similar dimension 2'' lift spring all the 'rears up front' guys would by them, myself included.........

X2 Especially if they came in 3rd generation length! A 2 or 3" spring in standard rear dimensions would rule the market....

I've always liked 3" springs with 1" of shackle. Any less, and I always had issues with bottoming out, and bending front axle tubes.

We carried 3" springs for a while and demand for them was low compaired to the requests for 5's.

There are also major clearance issues with a 2" spring, tie rod hitting the oil pan and such, drag link hitting the frame.

I don't think we will ever do stock length rear springs, I have built and tested them and you can't get good flex from the shorter springs unless you make them soft, then you get axle wrap, sag and failure.

Yo, which leaf exactly did you remove? Did you notice any side-effects of doing that?

We removed the second shortest leaf.

I have 37 MTRs on. I also took out the 2nd leaf on mine but it when it settles a little more I will put it back in. Also I had a lot of axle wrap in the front and my Drive shaft came apart twice over the weekend. I have 8 inch splines, 3 compression, 5 travel. I think that putting the 2nd leaf in will solve this but if not I will have to add a track bar in front.

Dope! My SAS kit just showed up today (I put the order in at the end of the day Tueday!!) so I'll be taking apart those spring packs and dropping that leaf out.

nce issues with a 2" spring, tie rod hitting the oil pan and such, drag link hitting the frame.

BUMPSTOPS.

I doubt I have over 3" of lift (1.5 of which are in the shackles) and have no issues because I have bumpstops to stop the tie rod and drag link from hitting the oil pan.

Add me to that list as well but w/ the axle moved 1.5" forward only. Basically a 3" lift spring that gives a true 3" life and NO MORE.

I just rebuilt the suspension on the 4Runner because it's too tall. Put my old AP 3" springs in and just pulled them for some older 4" springs because the 3" were 2" taller over all. I still want to drop the front 1-2"...

Steering is not an issue - it's really not.

the old allpro 3'' springs were nice, but too short, it they made a 47-48'''' version........

i might try there 2'' buggy springs, i think theyre build nearly identical to my rear/hybrid pack thats dead(6 and 7mm leafs)...

they definitely are way too short. And with the V6, bumper and winch, they gave me 2" more lift than my longer (4 year old) AP 4" springs...

If you're beggin for 3" springs, try some 1st gen (84-91) Isuzu Trooper rear springs. 47", 21" in front of the pin. They are sprung under stock and I've heard from a few people they do about 3" of lift swapped on a toyota. food for thought.
