Did 90 GMC/Chevy have the SM465?? I found a 90 GMC truck with a granny low--only 50 bones for the tranny.

Yes it could be..but I think that they had the aluminum covers by then...and they are 32 spline. AA does not make an adaptor for this one (Last time I checked)

That tranny should have a 241 behind it right? I think an ATLAS will bolt right up with the correct input.

Unless you can get around having to buy an adapter this way I would go for the earlier easy to find and just as cheap model.
