1987 sammi, I am planing on doing the 5.14 : 1 tc gears from spidertrax, so If something broke it isnt to big of a deal. I was hoping one of you might know though

most likley shifter sheet you can get them from most suzuki vendors
try lifting up on the shifter and shifting it
