J20 Steering Box Question

For all those Dakota SAS people....what year J20 box is it that is coveted? My stock box is shot to shit, spews about a quart of ps fluid every 3-4 days. I have been holding out because of money issues but it has gotten worse so I need to do something fast. I have a buddy with a stock box that I can get for a little bit less than a new J20 box from Autozone, but there appears to be different boxes for different year J20's. Just wanted to be sure I buy the right one.

By the way I have a 98 CC with 44 front 9" rear on Air shocks up front and still soa in the rear. I sit on 35's right now. Thanks for your help.

I'm still on a stock box, Spawn did mount-munging to run a PSC Ram box. not sure what anyone else has done.

I think I'm gonna brace my stock box with a carrier bearing on the bottom and rebuild it, but I'd like hydro assist and higher pressure. Plenty of times that I couldn't turn the wheels at Paragon this weekend, even revving in neutral.

So no one else wants to comment on what year J20 box they have used? I know quite a few have used these boxes on their Dakota's. I need to know something very soon.....
