Does GM offer heavy flywheels? Like did their half-tons come with lighter flywheels than their 1ton's? This would be a M/T flywheel, not an A/T Flexplate. I've read that Toyota's had two different kinds, 1 lighter than the other. Everyone knows a heavier flywheel will allow your engine to lunk right along up a hill. Just wondering if I should look for a different model while I have mine engine/trans/tcase out and on the floor.

I don't know if they came form the factory with a heavy flywheel but you can buy them aftermarket. McLeod makes a 40# one that PAW sells for around $200 (assuming you have a 350).
