My mom is thinking about buying a 92 landcruiser with 80k miles on it and is in great condition (was my aunt's) for 11k does that sound like a good deal...they said that they would through in the brushguard from the new one i think its a 99-00 will that fit too...im really tired of my mom driving a van...need to get her something but i would rather it be a jeep but i like landcruisers nothing wrong with them...so should she buy it or just wait?

That's high, 1991-92 models are the least desirable of the 80 series, you can do better than that with a 1993-94 model (in that price range). I've seen at least ten FJ80's for under $10K in the last few weeks.

 Rather have a Jeep? Funny. The 91-92 Landcruisers were definately dogs in the engine department, however, as far a reliability, it has about 4 Jeep lives left in it.
