Whats up with some people?? I buy a set of hysteer arms off a guy here on the PBB last Wed... He says, pay me via paypal and I'll try to get them out today....but if not today tomarrow(thur)...

fine I pay via paypal thur comes around and I email him to ask if he sent them out.... NO, I had to work on a buddies truck and didn't have time(basically is what he said)...I PROMISE I will have them sent out fri morning...

fine monday comes around and I email ask, did you get a chance to send them out....no respone...tue no response(no arms)...wed no arms....OK, I'm getting a little worried!:mad: I get a response from late last night... He writes, I started working 12 hrs and my wife sent them out today they should be there Monday!

Whats up with this? I just expected I paid in a timely manner I should get the same respect.... Of course I hold a little higher standard than some.... sorry for the crying around, I'm just being held up on the SOA and I'm a little pissed....thanks:mad3:

sounds like he is keepin in contact with you to let you know whats up. Thats the downside to buying from an individual, its a little cheaper but they don't worry about customer service.

Take it easy I just got totally shit on by a guy in Georgia because I couldn’t get his parts to him fast enough.

I actually AM going to make some stuff for someone else.. Joel B wants me to fab up some box-tubing spring perches for him..

Which I don't mind doing for Joel.

But if/when I build something for someone - whether I get paid or not - I'm doing THEM a FAVOR.

So they had better behave accordingly. :D

There are plenty of other fabricators that would gladly make what they want by a certain deadline.. but that ain't me.

I'd rather NOT build stuff for anyone but me - I don't have enough time to work on my own junk... but if the right friend asks, I have a hard time saying No. :D

I sell stuff cause I can’t keep it all. Ever since scout parts have migrated to the guest bedroom I have been catching a little extra harassment from the witchie pooh…. er uh… I meant wifey pooh.;)

Last time I counted I had 14 scout fenders … that’s more than I will ever use don’t you think?:D

And don’t trust the formula that tells you how to calculate total pipe needed, its wrong (that is if you get the same booklet they gave me). But I must give props, the #4 bender is sweet!

Oh, I'm not sweating the days. I still have no idea when I'll actually be ready to start using it - but I planned on it taking a while to get here, so I ordered it well in advance of a Need.

Shoot, I have to special order the tube, too..

First, finish the garage and put the race Scout back together.. then worry about bending stuff.

But it'll still feel good knowing it's sitting in the corner waiting to be used. :D

listen...when somebody says pay using paypal and I will send them right out....sorry but that is what I expect. I paid for the item you should keep your word and send it... I want to hear this shiat about getting to busy, cause sorry just an excuse... First of all he didn't keep me updated at all... the last I heard from the guy he said "I promise I will send it out fri", which is what I said in the above post.... that was the last I heard from him until today.... I get busy to, but I didn't hesitate to pay the guy, I cann't see someone being to busy to package up a set of extra arms he had laying around and drop in the mail or send ups.... If your that busy then don't freaking sell them....
