Kona Dawg???

I was thinking about getting the kona dawg, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $$$. I do a lot of long distance crosscountry stuff, but I also like to hit up the singletracks, some downhill, and small jumps, so that's why i was looking at the dawg. I know it's strong enough, but will it be too heavy for long rides? Or is there another bike which is cheaper that will work for me? :confused:

Just looked at one this past weekend. Didn't get to ride it or see feel how much it weighed though.

Have you looked at the Jamis Dakar XLT yet? 2005 bike of the year! And I think a little cheaper than the Dawg.

i've been riding Dawg deluxes for the last couple of years. Love em. Been working at a Kona dealer for 8 years. godd waranty, easy to deal with etc. I wouldnot hesitate to buy another. Which model are you looking at?

I dunno, whichever I can afford more! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the dawg deluxe is the top model? I'd LOVE that one! So,........can ya hook a brotha up with a good deal??? wink wink!
