hey guys, doinga sas on my 91 trooper. using a front bj60 axle and need to match my gears int he rear, the stock trooper has 4:56 and i am looking for some for the front. question is? will the mini truck gears fit in the cruiser diff? i have a buddy with a set of 4:56 froma toy min v6?
i believe it has 3:? now and that won't match up witht he rears very well.

Nope, they won't fit. Totally different.

Use a mini front axle instead. More ground clearance.

It should have 3.73s now but you will have to get aftermarket gears for the LC housing. You can get 4.56s for the cruiser axle but seing as how i have never bought gears you will have to get that advice from someone else. The lowest factory gears cruisers came with was 4.11:1

In the US. I have an OEM LSD with 4.56:1 gears... Lotsa aftermarket places have 4.56 gears, but I would imagine if you looked hard enough, you might find a used set of aftermarket gears...
