Guy's, Need a quick response on if this is a good unit or not? Willing to pay around $600 or so but no more, as I can get a miller 175 for $635....

you answered your own question ... get the miller. you won't be disappointed.

use a cheap welder, get a cheap weld. the best mig i ever used was a millermatic 250, this is an expensive welder and i have seen 15 year old kids with no prior expirience turn out decent welds with it. my friends welder that i use most of the time is a lincoln with gas setup and that ran about $700 and it gets the job done. from my expirience, millers are the best welders out there.
