Hey everyone I need some advice. I like to run swampers in the summer and my Goodyear MT's for the snow and ice. My truck is a DD so what I need are road manners as much as possible. I currently run 33-15.50 sx's which I like but they are to short. I want to go with something taller skinnier and better on the road. I also have never needed the sx sidewall strength since I don't run in hardcore jagged rocks. So will simply going to a narrower tire get rid of the wandering feel that my sx's have? Or do I need to go radial? It looks like my choices are 38-12.50 sx or regular tsl. Or 36-12.50 Tsl Radial. What would you do? The truck is wheeled hard and isn't really a poser rig so I need the best tire I can get for offroad that will still keep me in my own lane o0n the freeway. Thanks for the advice!

Oh yeah the noise isn't an issue and as long as they will last as good as SX's I am happy

Sounds like radials would work fine with you.

36 x 12.50R TSL Radials are nice. A little on the short side but the 36 x 14.50 TSL radial is very large for the 36" range.

As for TSL's and SX's, if you do decide to stay with a bias tire just do the TSL if you are not into the rocks heavily.
