they look exactly the same as the MRTs. You sure they aren't just selling MRTs? If so they should have the same turnaround problem.

These guys are for real......My contact there is Greg Mulkey, these are not MTR's, They are getting ready to do 16's and 17's real soon.
rich, any of your competitors run these? do you have any opinions on 'em? youre right, theyre not MRT's, these are 32 bolt, MRT's are 36 and 18 bolt designs. sams offroad is sellin the 32 bolt high impact for 170(15x10). i am just wonderin, since this is way cheeper than the mrt 36 bolt, if some other part of the wheel is cheaply made, mostly worried that i'd buy em and theyd end up being chincy.....thanks for any more info, i need wheels soon!!

call and talk to him(if you haven't already)...I just did and what he said is that he can have the 15" beadloacks out in about 2 weeks(said they are putting out about 100/week) he said they list for $195 and he can sell them for about $170...he said they are about 6 weeks away from having the 17" beadlocks available and he said they list on them is about $250 ad he can sell them for about $230(thats a steal on 17" if you ask me) he said he has taken a few orders on the 17" already...unfortunately no 16.5s available(which is what I am looking for) he said they could mod a hummer rim for mw if I wanted to go that route...:D

I heard "HE"(?) use to work for MRT????
"He" is not Greg. Their lead tech guy used to work for MRT for over 20 years. Now he works for Allied. This is why the wheels look similar, but they are not MRTs. They use a thicker steel wheel than the cheap MRTs, but the expensive MRTs are the same wheel. The main difference is in the lock ring design.

I looked into those and even swapped e-mails with Greg. I choose MRT's over the Allied ones because Allied's rings are made out of .115 rolled steel instead of the entire ring being thick like the MRT's (I can't speak for the 18 bolt ones, I got the 32 bolt ones). I was worried about these bending too easy. Nice looking wheels though.
I thought Allied's rings were made from hardened steel, not just plain cold rolled. I guess we can call them and find out for ourselves. It doesn't mention in on the web site, but this is what I remember from talking with them.

Here's the page with the info:
The .115 measurement mentioned earlier is from an e-mail from Greg.
I read that and I still don't see where it says cold rolled steel. I do see that the steel is rolled at the end.
Oh well.
