after this (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33195) incident I doscovered many things wrong with my truck.
1. front leaf springs need to be replaced
2. front calipers need to be replaced
3. front right brakeline needs to be replaced
4. front right shockmount needs to be fixed/replaced(ripped bracket off)
5. front right bearings/ hub assembly needs to be examined for dmg(huge ammounts of play in wheel)
6. front tires need to be rebalanced
7. frame needs to be checked for dmg/ mal alignment
8. does drag link adjustment sleeve get coverage?(it failed on its own)
9. front right leaf spring bushings need to be replaced
10. front right shackle needs replacement left side needs examineing.
11. Front left body mount is torn off.

I did not think they would cover 2,6 or 8 but they said they will only pay for the front leafs and nothing else. :mad3:
WTF is with that?

Insurance companies are out to make money, and give out as little as possible. Just out of curiosity who is your insurance company? Watch out for those cheap fly by night companies, one accident and they drop you......:skull:

State Farm is my company. The estimator is so full of shit, he told me "if it was my truck, and I used it for off road, I would pay a mechanic to inspect and tighten every single bolt on the car every 3 months".

He also said that since I had no records of any wheel alignment I have no proof the drag link adjuster sleeve was ever serviced. He didnt believe me when I said they would have disconnected the sleeve when they replaced the upper and lower balljoints on the side with the control arm.

Can't I sue them for giving the truck back to me with a leaking brake line or something?

Insurance adjusters will say things like that to see how you react. They think that everyone is a liar and trying to screw the insurance company so thye treat everyone like a criminal. You have to stand your ground with them and not take no for an answer.

Stand your ground... I got run off the road 2 1/2 years ago by a logging truck. AAA had the nerve to say it was my fault and gave me a point. I threatened to sue them even had a friend who is a lawyer write them a letter with my intentions on it. Funny how when the L word got tossed around and the topic of being sued came up they listened. They are there to screw you plain and simple. Their job is to get you to pay the most you can and for them to give back the least they can....

Well I am taking it to the dealer for an estimate. If they find more damage than the insurance fag state farm will send out another estimator. I have requested it be a different one. After that I have the option to appeal any discions, than I can sue. Thanks guys.
