i just found out about the Calrocs Put Up or Shut up Rock Crawling Comp. at Lake Amador...WUT!... is there a trail there?..when will it be held again?...is there a website i can go to for info on it?:eek: :confused:

Ok here's the scoop......www.calrocs.com......

the event will be held there again this year if the county of Amador will let us. we are still trying to work out the details.

No there is no trail, and the property is private.

Do not try and wheel there.

The landowner will not allow open wheeling, if you try, you may blow our chance to hold the event there again this year.

And trust me......that would piss alot of poeple off.....including me......:D :D :D

Let's all hope that the county, the landowners and myself can work it all out.

I know that the landowner, and myself can....but the county may still hold a grudge:D :D :D

If you want to go wheeling close to that area, try the High Lakes. The short but rough Morris Lake trail is a killer. Great place to camp and some decent rock gardens.

The high lakes are about four and a half hours from Lake Amador :smokin: They are three hours from my house and I live in Yuba City Lake Amador is out by Jackson and Ione and last years event was the best it is in the new petersons right now April's issue.
