Will a five speed out of a 85 SR5 4x4 truck Bolt up to a 85 FJ60 with stock 2F ? I can buy the truck Five speed dirt cheep. I thought it would be a better on the freway & maybe better gas mpg? If not, any one have a five speed that will work? That thay want to part with.

You need an H55, for your Cruiser. It has a lower first gear, and, of course, the fifth gear for highway Cruising. I have one, you can e-mail me if you're interested. Be prepared to get out your checkbook though, they're not cheap! fecamel@hotmail.com
