I have a YJ with 35" tires, 4.88's and lockers front and rear. I have already destroyed 2 AX- 15 trannies, and now l'm upgrading to a NV 4500 and I don't know if the axles will hold up to the low gears or Moab. The superior sales man claims no one has broken an axle. if you know someone who has had problems with the kit, let me know.

Shit, crossposting to boot! http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36342

The 35 is a POS. Period.

If you insist on this kit, I'm sure that they are TONS of people here (http://www.jeepsunlimited.com) that can tell you all about it.

Newbie

I am not gonna flame ya..

If you baby it it will last alittle while...

but if there is one thing you do to the 35 (IF you have already put money in it---if not then DON"T - get a 8.8 explorer axle dude)

if you already have put money in it

the best thing to do is TRUSS the FAWK outa the housing..

the housing is the week part of the 35 by a long shot..

I think you'd be money ahead by swapping in a Cherokee or a Scout Dana44. I like the 8.8 idea also, more money though.
