a short background of my problem
i bought a 68 eb and was told it had a late model roller engine running a carb instead of efi and that the motor had a rod knock , it had late model serpentine setup up so i didnt question if the engine was a late model roller .
so before i pulled the old engine i bought a 92 5.0 ho long block to replace the dead engine .
the bronco has a dura spark ignition and upon checking the distributor i noticed the dura spark distributor's oil pump shaft is shorter by 1/2" than the late model 5.o ho distributor .

i was told that the distirbutor i needed was an 85 mustang with man trans and carb distributor . i ordered the 85 dist from napa and it also has the shorter oil pump shaft .
can someone please help with the right application distributor for 92 5.0 roller engine using a dura spark ignition and carburator ?

or does anyone have one they would sell ?

btw
the differences are from the bottom of the cam gear to the end of the shaft
the dura spark i have measures 1" and the late model measures 1 1/2"
i need a dura spark distributor with an 1 1/2 shaft below the cam gear
