I am looking to replace the ball joints on my 88 Suburban 3/4 ton. JC Whiteny sells a greaseable ball joint at a reasonable price.
Is there stuff any good or should I run for the hills?

as long as you install it properly they should work fine. I've run a few greasable ball joints and been very happy

I personally swear by Moog Fleet-Tuff balljoints in a solid axle chevy
They are kinda expensive but they are the only setup i know of with a upper ball joint that can be greased without removing the axle shaft (the grease fitting goes in at an angle)
I've had a couple set's of these and the truck always ended up wore out before the Balljoints did (I kept them greased every oil change)

Can the upper on the others be greased with a 90 degree fitting for the grease gun?
