I've been offered a killer deal on a Gemini 1000 and am seriously conmsidering buying it for an all around trail rig. I figured that, witht the Gemini, I could swap the rear shock out to my Swinger 4-way (air) and change a few other parts such as wheels, tires, etc to get a sub 30 lb trail monster.
Any of you have any thoughts on this bike? All the trails here require you peddle up before coming down, so along with bomber descents we have killer climbs, rocks, roots, you name it. I need something that will handle it all & not break...and the Cannondale is in the budget, I can get it for $1k and it's been ridden a half-dozen times. Thanks.
