Lenny80 03-01-2002, 08:29 AM My p/s pump is going out quick on my 80 blazer w/31.5's. The pump is stock and orig (yuk) from the looks. It's got to be replaced anyway, so any ideas on what, where and how to upgrade while I'm at it. Lenny charlo 03-01-2002, 11:48 AM replace it with a stock pump. I have heard that high pressure pumps will just blow up your gear box. If the pump is only leaking replace the seals, its fairly easy. Otherwise you can go with a hydro assist but those tend to run big $$$. It is D.O.T. legal hydraulic steering that won’t ever break! The whole kit is about $1000 but you could just by their heavy-duty pump. | |
