ok its a 2002 TJ 4.0L with 42,000 miles.... had over heating problems but had those fixed about 500 miles later driving down the highway it just looses power and will bairly run so i limp it home a mile and figure i blew a head gasket because it has been eating coolent. Find out the head is cracked so i replace the head with a remanufactured one, well it still sounds like shit so i pull the valve cover and find the my exaust valve push rod on the number 2 cylinder is bent, i also notice that i have a ton of play in the intale valve push rod on the #2 cylinder and a little on the #1 but neither are bent... (i can push the push-rod down and it springs back up) i can turn the motor over with a socket and wrench with no irregular spots in the motor.....so problem revisited.....
cam and lifter was toasted all back to geather now and am throwing these codes.....
351 Coil #1 is not reaching peak current at the right time
352 Coil #2 is not reaching peak current at the right time
353 Coil #3 is not reaching peak current at the right time
Im pretty sure its my timing.... but havent found what im looking for yet as far as a clear answer as to the cam and crank alignment. i have the two lines lined up for indexing so yea basically im confused....
