d30 and 10 bolt knuckle swap

Just curious as to if I cna take some CJ d30 knuckles (off an 85) and put them on a 10 bolt front axle and still keep the 6 lug pattern??

redrill the 10 bolt spindle and backing plate and it may work... not sure

I swapped CJ dana 30 knuckles onto a chevy 44 to convert to 5 on 5.5...used scout stub shafts. Direct bolt on. Cant remeber what spindles I used...
