Jeep people I need some info? I've got an 80 blazer I took the top of of and I want to find a way to put a canvas top over the bars. (just top not sides).

Anybody now any tips for finding, quality and sewing canvas? Snaps or rings better for attaching?

check a boat shop. I had a local boat shop make a bikini for my old '78 Ramcharger and it was only $50 and they had a big ol' selection of colors and prints and canvas weights. I held mine on with snaps, but if you use snaps make sure you use a material that doesn't shrink in cold weather, it's a bitch to get on then (ask me how I know:rasta: ) Velcro would seem to be a good idea, I skydive and the risers are held to the harness with velcro. Used correctly, it's got some big time holding ability.

Boat shops are usually the cheapest but you can also try shops that make Awnings for the front of buildings. They deal with alot of custome canvase applications.
