a front end spring hanger.
I would assume so since it works fine for the rear, but there are a few other stresses the front goes through compared to the rear.
is this safe?
specifically ORD's flip kit for the front spring/shackle hanger on an s-10, but anything with a solid frame could work.

Take a good look at your front spring shackle and think about it...

Safe? Probably
However, won't that set your springs out too far? Your turning radius would suck. Blap, blap, blap, blap (Tires rubbing on springs:D )

LOL! After looking at it again, I realized your talking S10 so obviously this is a complete custom suspension your doing for a SFA. My first reply was based on my f'ed up thinking you were talking about a regular GM front spring setup with compression shackle already there. Hehe, when I posted that I was thinking to myself that "I've seen your posts before and I don't remember you posting stupid questions in your other posts I've seen, but, WTF..."
So, it's me that deserves the flip off. Here, let me do it for you. :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
Sorry for the smart ass reply but I've seen that exact question asked more than once about GM full size. As for a real answer, my thoughts are already posted by someone else. Seems like the springs would be too far outboard and the tires would hit them at full lock. But, I don't know how wide your axles are or how wide the frame is so, I'll shut up and go away now. Good luck!

thanks guys...I gues it'll be safe enough....now to get exact measurements on the damn things to see if it'll outboard too much.
I was just a litle curious because I had never heard of this being used before.....
I am taking the easy route and throwing on a set of m-715 axles on there. I know they're drum braked and closed knuckled...but a 60 front a 70 rear that I won't have to regear sound good to me to start with. Hell I can always swap out the front or custom fab some cheby 60 or dodge 60 outers onto it and be good to go.
