I have a 97 D-90 hard top with push button doors; both casings were damaged in a roll over. It almost back in action but the last parts I’m sourcing are the door casings. The only options I've found is to replace them with LR Genuine there proud of them @ $580.00 ea.

The idea of spending 580 each for genuine simulated leather embossed onto cardboard is just wrong IMO.

I would like to make some Aluminum ones but I don’t have the time to fuss with it I would like to find an ABS or Fiberglass replacements like the ones on the convertible doors? Any ideas, links or vendors names would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Have you checked with George at Rovers Down South?
Guy always seems to have a good deal on stuff like that.
Other idea is to look Equicar in the UK. They are a large Rover breaker and deal in used parts. They have/had an add up in the garage sale that had contact info.

Luck

buy some masonite, and fabric/vinyl/leather. Make your own. You could even do them in a canvas.

I’m most likely going to make up some Aluminum panels and powder coat them. It will match all the other Chequer plate I have. The flimsy Disco inspired ones just don’t work especially when your upside down trying to kick your way out..
