I just replaced the one on my dads 90 z71 today. I replaced it with a moog superduty idler arm part number 6483T. It is alot heavier duty than the factory arm. If your looking for an even stronger fix, you can do a search for a 3 bolt ilder arm conversion. It costs about 160 as appose to the 90 for the superduty one above. The 3 bolt conversion allows you to use the better idler found on 92 and newer trucks. It has of course 3 bolts holding it to the frame and a larger bushing to last longer. It also has a bracket that supports it to the frame better. Either way these should solve your problems and tighten up your steering for a better feel. Once i did this it made a world of difference and no more metallic thump coming from my passenger side.
