I'm sure you have done all the homework, so how does this compare to the Optima Original Red Top?

Well a nice feature of this battery is the absorbed glass mat. It uses more of a cube design instead of spiral. The spiral design doesn't utilize all the space while the cube uses every bit possible and the plates are packed tightly to get every ounce of power out of it. It is more comparable to the yellow top optima in that it is a deep cycle, but still has 750 CCA's! Overall it's a great battery but a lot less expensive than the 160 and up yellow tops. It also has the dual terminal setup for your accessories, i.e. winch, lights, etc

Was looking at the link the other guy gave and they are 5lbs lighter than the yellow top optima also.And will fit my speedway motor battery tray better than my optima does.That tray is only $17.Might haft to buy some because I need a new yellow top anyways.
