Mine was working great with the 4:1's and 32 spline AA output. An unfortunate situation TORE the output housing right off the back of the case, so I'm screwed. I dont think I can/want to try and weld it back up.
I have tried every scout reference on the net. 75% of the numbers I find are disconnected or not working. Can anyone give me ideas of where to look?

What are you looking for, another 300??? Try the classifieds on the Binder Bulletin or here.

Yes he did call me. Did you try any of those numbers I gave you? I know PartsMike called me looking for one so I know you tried him. If anyone is out there with a blown up Scout Dana 300 here's your chance to get rid of it.

Might be a good time to make the nessisary mods for a Jeep 300 case... and then just re-use your gear set.

Yeah Jeff, great to talk to you and thanks for the leads. I called your bro and left a message on an answering machine. Problem is, I gave him my cell and the batt is dead. I'll try him again tonight.
Thanks Rover!! PM'd you back!
Problem with going Jeep 300 is my 4:1 gearset matches the output shaft set. And something tells me I cant mix and match that stuff. There was a reason there were different part numbers for the Jeep and Scout 300 case stuff. I dunno. Right now I'm just frustrated to all hell and would love to just put it back together.

I chated with my bro this eveing and mentioned the case. He said he believed he had one. He's been busy as hell moving/selling his house why he didn't get back to you. If RoverJunkie doesn't hook you up call my bro again.

What if you gutted a jeep case & built a custom texas pattern to Jeep 300 round pattern adapter & used ALL of your IH300 guts? (hell, might be easier to just score an IH case....)

Well, I did score another case at a great price too. But I have decided to leave the world of Scout 300 cases. I tend to break things, and since I have Jeep 20's stacked up like cord wood, I'm going to attempt to build the ultimate 20. Including 4:1 cogs in it.
Me and 66CJDean are formulating the R&D plan now. Stay tuned... this could be fun. :D
