supposedly some mustangs use a serpintene pulley/clutch. but I have heard there may be a problem w/ an offset. Has anyone tried this?

it's the york I'm running on my serpentine belted 5.0 in my EB, 78-82 mustang with the 5.0 is the application. I dunno about weird offsets, causer I'm on a custom fabbed bracket...

Here are a pair of pictures of the mustang serpentine york pulley mounted on a Chevy 5.0L TBI engine.

The first shows the "funky" offset. The Onboard Air version has the serpentine location in place of the big block closest to the york.

The second picture shows the issue that might be caused by having to mount the york further back. In this case, it is a smog related box... but the cover has about 1/8" of movement to it. OTOH, I need to remove the york to take the cover off :(
