NICE! what kinda paint is that, it turned out awfully shiny :D I never get good paint jobs with the hardware store/krylon/rustoleum crap, only thing that turns out decent is farm impliment paint, covers REALLY well.

I agree... For next week, it shall stay the same. But I am working on lowering it in the very near future, though (so I can be in Lowrider magazine :D ) It really isn't that tall, it just *looks* tall because there are no fender lines. It's actually the exact same height (same front suspension and bald tires) as it is here:

Lance be careful with the plexi glass. I can never remember which is which but I think it is plexi that is prone to shattering and splintering. I think, or is that Lexan? Oh well, sorry I'm not more help but watch for that. BTW rig looks good in red.:D I'm gettin the itch to paint the cruiser.

plexiglass is acrylic and it is prone to shattering.
Lexan is polycarbonate and it is basically sledgeproof.

if you need a sheet of polycarb , pm me and I'll send you enough material to do you hood and the correct drill bits to drill it without shattering.

Yeah XO Rust is just a brand of rattle can I got at the local True Value Hardware store. (No Ace's up here, Aceguy! ;) )

Looks great Lance, I love red, my fav. color. I like the rattle can idea. Been using it for years on the cj5. Krylon regal blue. It is nice to repair a panel and spend 3.99 on paint.

How long is the winch rope? The winch holds 125' , if its a HS9500i, of wire rope. Is that just a 100' ? Did you find a place that has 125' ? Thats ends in about the same place as my wire rope. Just curious

Dennis, it's 100'. But they sell 150' and I believe 120' lengths too. 100' is more than enough for me. BTW I got it at Rubicon Express in Rancho Cordova. :)
