Independent4x offers QA1 rod ends / heim joints & hardware:

I have been selling QA1 rod ends for a few years and am a firm believer in the quality of this product. As a direct dealer i can offer you any of the products in their line.


the popular ones i typically sell are the XM series Chromoly with teflon race. popular sizes include the 3/4 x 16 tpi shaft with either a 5/8" or 3/4" bolt size.

i also have a complete line of hardware:

3/4 x 16 tpi weld-in tube inserts
3/4 x 16 Jam nuts
7/8 x 14 tpi weld-in tube inserts
7/8 x 14 Jam nuts

3/4 and 5/8 mis-alignment spacers
Grade 8 bolts/nylocs

1.25" od x 1" id DOM in 1'-5' lengths
1.50" od x 1" id DOM in 1'-5' lengths

etc, etc.

5/8 x 3/4 & 3/4 x 3/4 teflon:

-Heat treated 52100 Bearing steel ball
-Teflon/Kevlar Self lubricating Race
-Chrome Moly Steel Body

3/4" bolt or 5/8" bolt sizes

3/4 = 28,081 lbs. static load
5/8 = 40,572 lbs. static load

i have 7/8 x 14 tpi Jams in stock and inserts up to 1 1/4" x 12 thread..........

What are those larger joints also? Are they 1 1/4x12 thread? How much for two of those joints with two inserts and jams. Thanks.

I need a set of those monster joints. Forged body 1 1/4x12 tpi shank (apx 3") - I believe it tera part #982.

I need 4 joints with jam nuts (might get 6 depending on price). Right hand thread. Are these available for 5/8 bolt instead of 9/16?

they are only 9/16 bolts in the 1 1/4 x 12 tpi size..........OR , you can get a smaller 7/16" bolt with a 7/8 x 18 shank.

going to add some info on the 1 1/4 ends..............getting a lot of PM's on these.

here is the description:

Spherical Urethane ends provide excellent off-road capabilities with articulation and durability. They dampen a fair amount of road noise and vibration. This end can also be used as a replacement for any control arm utilizing a 1-1/4" x 12 tpi. "heim" type rod end. Uses a 9/16" bolt. Specify left or right hand thread.


i have these in stock with Jam Nuts ans i have weld in inserts for a 1.5" i.d. tube.

QA1 has a 1" bore (bolt size) with either a 1" x 12 tpi or 1" x 14 tpi........which are you interested in?

on the tube, what wall thickness do you want? 1.75 x .250 or .375?


just want to get you an accurate quote.

ok guys here is a nother new item i have added.

these are Stainless steel HIGH mis-alignment spacers. these are sold in pairs, are used with a 3/4" bore Heim and reduce it to a 5/8" bore (bolt size)

these offer extreme travel ......... more than the normal rod end is tylically capable of due to the design.


you need 2 per rod end...............price is $18.99 pr.
